Welcome. The writings on this site are my own—a record of my heart, my thoughts, and my prayers as I attempt to look into the heart of God.

I have never been "in your face" about my beliefs. I am a simple follower of Christ. I profess to be a Christian, but not religious. I am no theologian, I am not perfect—I am a sinner, the chief of sinners, and yet I am forgiven!

The Journey

My understanding of God and the Bible has been shaped by a varied path. I was raised Pentecostal (A/G), attended a Lutheran school for 7th and 8th grade, a Catholic high school for 9th grade, and a Pentecostal college. In 2011, I stopped protesting and became a member of the Orthodox Church in America. Along the way, God has used teachers, pastors, and countless friends to develop my relationship with Him.

The true turning point in my life started with my middle school teacher, Homer (Rick) Kerr. He influenced me to challenge my own beliefs and test the teachings of others against scripture. That sparked a keen interest in the history of the modern Church and the transmission of the Bible as it exists today.

Faith Over Arguments

At first, I found myself restricted by the ever-evolving fights over biblical fact and fiction—until I realized it didn't matter. My salvation is not dependent on Noah having built an ark, or the first man to walk the earth being named Adam. My salvation comes through God, in the form of Man, sacrificing Himself to redeem me.

Everything published here is personal inquiry and human study—the conclusions are mine alone, written in gratitude for the grace that covers them.
